Stanford Expelled Bush...In April?!
Did any of you know that [the person claiming to be president of the United States of America] George W. Bush attempted to speak at Standford University's Hoover Institute - "a public policy research center devoted to advanced study of politics, economics, and political economy" - but was turned away by protesting students, parents, faculty, and local residents? How about that this seemingly front-page news story, the US President getting turned away from a preeminent US University, officially got buried... because it took place back in April!!?
It has come to our attention here at H2RS recently via, of all sources, a notable column called Soundings by Mark Howell in the small Key West arts weekly, Solares Hill.
Here's the story link, and below is another, and it's a trail well worth following.
And for the record, even with our UC Berkeley background, yea Stanford!
Link.

Would have been a good story if it were true, but it doesn't seem to be. The fellows of the Hoover institute did meet with Dubya in April and there are photos on their website to prove it. http://www.hoover.org/pubaffairs/releases/2884886.html
i remeber when bush suprised soliders on Thanksgiving in IRAQ and got his pics takes...... too bad it never happened you could see "made in china" on the bottom of the plastic turkey and the nice press photo of airforce one taking off at sunset was touching but he supposedly left at 8:30 p.m. when there was no sunset!
Hey anonymous, the article doesn't say that Dubya DID NOT meet with fellows. It says he was turned away from the area he was scheduled to meet at and had to relocate to his buddy Shultz's place just off campus.
It's amazing how much these G-men can cover up when they want/need to. I am a non-American, living in non-America, who used to think this kind of stuff was OK since it was all for the greater good and the little people didn't need to know every detail. 9/11 changed that perspective real quick. Too many questions left unanswered with way too many anomolies in the sequence of events.
For a great perspective watch: www.loosechange911.com Sure video can be edited, Photoshop can be learned, but go pull some of the newspaper articles he mentions - they are real.
Too bad the previous poster didn't read that they were forced to relocate the meeting.
Nice try. That picture was not taken on the Stanford Campus. The meeting was moved from the Hoover Insitute to George Schultz's private residence.
Thanks for the photographic proof that Bush was expelled. Don't conservatives read?
@anonymous: yeah they still met. But the protesters wouldn't let them into the hoover tower, so they had to go over to George Schultz's house instead. Which wasn't the plan.
