Cuisinart DCC-2000 Coffee-on-Demand 12-cup Programmable Coffeemaker

After reading Instapundit's very interesting follow-up to his take on the utter inadequacy of coffemakers, a subject close to the heart of all people who are civilized/gave up on the other drugs, this jewel of a unit came to our attention.

Forty-two of the forty-six reviews at Amazon gave the machine four stars or more. Of the three bad reviews, two were dud machines (it happens), and the last review preferred the flavor of Mr. Coffee's brew. Gulp!

To each their own. But 42 of 46 reviews - all else by people who actually prefer good coffee - raved about this machine, it's drip-coffee brew, and what a pleasure it is to use.

Mmmm. Coffee. Even drip. . . as long as its good!
