May I make a suggestion?

Acknowledge the Ignorant for who they are—a people!—by ceasing to pretend their people and our people are the same kind.

Anyone in their right minds can see one group of us has evolved and moved on, while another group has chosen to remain behind.

It's the classic metaphor.

Once upon a time, there were two groups of primates. One group is believing they should commit to the move out of the trees, while the other group is steadfast: We must remain in the trees. Inevitably, a critical mass of disparity is achieved, and both groups make their decisions and stick to them.

Now, jump forward in time a few hundred thousand years. The group that chose to leave the trees and move to the ground got medicine, internet, and space travel. And the group that chose to remain in the trees? Zoos.

And that's how the metaphor goes, and in a way also, how it went.

Yet, now suddenly after another couple thousand years another opportunity for growth has revealed itself. Suddenly we as post-primates have been presented with another new idea. It is the concept of evolution.

And you know what the result has been?

The exact same as the metaphor with the trees.

Meaning, one group has embraced the evolution concept—and forward thinking—and the other is dedicated to the status quo, and subsequently obsolescent thinking.

In other words, there are now two kinds of humans living on the planet. There are those dedicated to realizing what we can become. They are us. And then there are those who believe that this was as good as it gets, and don't want much better but worryingly don't want much worse.

These are the Ignorant people. And we discriminate against them by giving them the credit we give to our equals/one another.

While this has been common knowledge for sometime—I mean, either getting evolution or not getting evolution is what we share or don't share in common—recently a method of determining which of us belongs to which group has revealed itself.

It is the question of whether or not the president of the United States must be Barack Obama.

Here in the US, when someone tells me after eight years of what we and the world has been put through under the reign of George W. Bush that they will be voting for McCain, I know that I am dealing with a person who is Ignorant.

Here in the US, when I here someone say, "I am not voting for McCain, but I am not voting for Barack Obama," I know that this is someone who is Ignorant.

There are not really two US presidential candidates. There are presidents for two unique US peoples. Barack Obama is our president, the president for all of us in the US who are anything but ignorant.

And John McCain is the president of the US Ignorant.

See how simple it is? Anyone who is anything other than Ignorant will obviously vote for Barack Obama. Likewise, the Ignorant by their very nature must choose McCain—by voting or not.

Acknowledge the Ignorant by leaving them to their beliefs. Stop belittling them with shows of conscious superiority.

There is not a choice of whether or not to vote John McCain or Barack Obama. There is an evolutionary difference between the two. It's like neanderthals and humans living together and having choosing to vote for a homo neanderthalensis candidate or a homo sapien candidate. The one would vote for their kind, and the other would vote for theirs.

However, as history shows, victory goes to the smarter group not the larger.

So, rather than aggravating the Ignorant with anti-McCain campaigns and pro-Obama demonstrations, just organize your immediate community to vote for Obama. It's really very simple and civil. After eight years under Bush, even the Ignorant people are not very interested in voting for McCain. But they rightly want life to be better than it is.

In the end, the Ignorant don't really care that Obama is president; they just want to be acknowledged. Make getting Obama elected our goal, but let's do it while acknowledging—and being nicer to—the Ignorant.

This is no super-store, MAJOR DC is like a boutique. But different. At its pop-ate-itself soul is a revealing of the newest portion of modern branding's long-tail. Improv everywhere have done it again (remember Frozen Grand Central?) Food Court Musical is several moments of rehearsed but unpredictable fun. How it all starts is as a set-up a LA mall food court, by working with the mall, the Improve Everywhere group had set-up in and infiltrated the mall with two-way mirrors, cameras, pick-up mikes, and music piped through the sound system. As well as sixteen "agents" - singers, dancers, and supporting cast.

Out of nowhere, behind the counter of corndog chain, Hotdog On A Stick, a lone countergirl breaks out in song. From there, things really get cooking...

...So which mall? Well, according to participant Jesse Thorn (!) on The Sound of Young America site, "The mall chosen to be the site of the mission is in south LA -- you might know it as the place Chris Rock interviewed people coming out of a Magic Johnson theater one time for the Oscars." In other words, Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza! This is the mall famous also for its featured role in the 2-Pac single, "To Live & Die In LA".

In other words, this is one fantastic clip at one famous mall. Great work, Improv Everywhere on your LA debut. West side up ahoy!

Amplive remix of Radiohead's In Rainbow

It was probably this video that did the job. Though only eight tracks long, Amplive's Rainydayz Remixes is the best real internet music album since DJ Danger Mouse's Grey Album mash-up of Jay-Z's The Black Album and the Beatles' White Album. And up until two days ago, it was unavailable.

But as of today, Radiohead having given the album their official seal of approval, Rainydaze Remixes is now available for download. [See link below.]

Initially, news of the release was posted around the internet along with tracks by an excited/ambitious fanbase of the DJ/producer Amplive including this doctored photo...

...which no doubt contributed to the initial news reports/added fuel to the fire.

The stroy was that by forwarding a receipt of purchase of Radiohead's notoriously-successful In Rainbow album, listener's could get a copy of Rainydaze Remixes. The problem was this took place without Radiohead's approval or awareness. Eventually (what with the publicity and all - 1, 2, 3), it came to Radiohead's attention. That's when Radiohead's publisher put a quash on he project. Rainydaze Remixes suddenly was buried.

Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed. Partially due to a heart-felt YouTube plea from Amplive himself as well as a grass-roots fan campaign that supported Amplive (his work with artists such as mainstream successes such as Linkin Park and Goapele, as well as underground legends the Grouch and Akon, have earned the producer a sizable following), cooler heads prevailed, and Radiohead listened to the project and have now the group and their management and publishing company have all given the Rainydaze Remixes their seal of approval. Here's the video from Amplive pleading with Radiohead to "please listen" to the music:

Quite a difference! And a success for music-lovers everywhere.

Though it took all of this to get to the music, this is yet another step in the right direction for music and technology. In addition to encouraging experimentation and artistic freedom, by combining mainstream superstar success with ear-to-the-street underground savvy, Amplive and Radiohead are making real modern headway for human relations...by showing what we all share in common.

In the past, the major record labels would have stamped a label on this kind of synthesis, petrifying it in order to sell it out before it had a chance to develop any further. Yet this is just another step in the evolution of music and web economics that has major labels left stunned and reveals their model as being hopelessly outdated. To the record labels this is about peanut-butter and chocolate equaling something that could have been marketed as Reese's. But to 21st Century, this is about the developing of something so great it doesn't even have a name but that is globally-loved all the same.

Best of all, the music is amazing. So thanks to Amplive for making the tracks. And thanks to Radiohead for yet another contribution to this developing modern artistic culture that has the means of production and distribution in its own hands but doesnt have (or need) a name.

Beside's the fact that it's EPIC WIN, it just capped Scientology. Score after the above, lessee, Scientology litigates with YouTube over Tom Cruise video, -1. Anonymous steps in, releases video, PWNS Scientology. Score: ScienT -2, Anon 1.

Then Anonymous effectively shuts down the portal for Scientology on the internet. Score definitely: ScT negative 3, Anon up 2.

See for yourself. Molly Wood makes front page news, internet-style. It's instant relevancy! Whatever is happening is still happening. Which is great, it means we didn't waste our time.

It also means that there really is an Anonymous, and that Scientology is either a lame duck or a dark horse, (in other words: LULZ either way!) but one way or another, thinks just got bumped up a notch here in the iWorld.

ZTOHOVEN is not the Anonymous of the Czech Republic: They're funnier.

Imagine hacking a public television station, and replacing the weather report with footage of the same countryside that features an early-morning atomic bomb exploding. In the US, that would equal instant prison. In the Czech Republic? Art-prank outsiders ZTOHOVEN have been embraced by international art circles, and the video of the stunt recently went to #1 on YouTubeEurope with nearly a million views.

While the prank itself took place this past June, the video of a super-imposed atomic blast on a Czech Republic public television morning weather report by prank-art group ZTOHOVEN only recently took off, and is now as popular in Europe as the recent Tom Cruise Scientology video is in the US.

Attention to the ZTOHOVEN prank — as well as the group's awe-inspiring video — has been steadily gaining momentum, to the point it is now getting international play in traditional major media media outlets such as BBC News and International Herald Tribune. And today's coverage in the New York Times obviously breaks even more new ground for ZTOHOVEN/teh lulz.

The group's members now face criminal charges even after Prague's National Gallery awarded the group the new NG 333 prize for young artists — 333,000 koruna, the equivalent of $18,350.

What seems to most be capturing everyone's attention is that provocateur's pulled off such a silly prank without an entire nation losing their minds. First most on everyone's minds? This question: "What if this had taken place in the States?" In other words, there are some places in the world where people are NOT taking themselves so seriously. In fact, if there is a point to made here, it's that there are some places where well-thought out fun equals $$$ and LULZ.

Here's the group's artistic statement:

"We are neither a terrorist organization nor a political group, our aim is not to intimidate the society or manipulate it, which is something we witness on daily basis both in real world and in the world created by the media.

"Whether the reasons are political interests, market interests, financial interests or interests of supranational companies – we meet hidden manipulation and attempt to invade the subconscious mind of citizens with specific products or ideology, using all available means. We do not think that a subtle distortion of such system or an appeal to pure common sense of people and their ability to remain unaffected are harmful, not even in a democratic society. That is why, several years ago, the art group “Ztohoven” penetrated the public sphere of Prague, questioned the space given to advertisement generally and the space given to specific adverts. On the 17th of June 2007 this group attacked the space of TV broadcasting. It distorted it, questioned its truthfulness and its credibility. It drew attention to the possibility of using images of the world created by the media in place of the existing, real world.Is everything we see daily on our TV screens real? Is everything presented to us by the media, newspapers, television, Internet actually real? This is the concept our project would like to introduce and remind of. We believe that even the free space of public service broadcaster is able to endure such action and such impeachment. We hope our action will become an appeal for the future and remind the media of their duty to bring out the truth.

The group still faces criminal charges in the Czech Republic, but as the anything heavier than a light fine seems unlikely. “It’s not that we would not have supported this kind of art, if they had come to us,” Ladislav Sticha, the spokesman for Czech Public Television went on the record as saying.

Here is a graph of the Alexa rankings of the Church of Scientology's website. It is a good illustration of what is taking place, called a Distributive-Denial-Of-Service (DDOS).

See the spike? That's the traffic increase, a load up to 8 times the site's usual traffic. Whatmore, the attention that the live unfolding of this story is driving even greater traffic to the site. In fact, it is further serving to increase the burdensome traffic load every time one of us clicks on the link, scientology.org.

Simply put, click-thru's equal unrelenting (one-way) traffic equal denial-of-service.

What we are seeing here is history in the making. It is the 21st Century putting its attention squarely on a a small component of itself, in the form of a website representing an organziation which what may or may not be a religion (which has 8-to-15 million adherants worldwide).

Specifically, the internet is casting an objective eye up on the religion/whatever's internet presence, and the main site of the the Church of Scientology is clearly unable to sustain the load. In one context it's abominable, frontier justice done vigilante-style. But in its proper contemporary context, considering that every visitor's click which adds to the site's over-burdened server load is a vote, it is clearly the expression of justice of a very young new Epoch at the front-most head of a just-born Millennium.

We all of us are not by-standers. We all here have the tools of the internet at our disposal. What we are noticing is our not being spectators; but watching alone, on the internet we are clearly participants.

This is not democracy. This is not collective, even. This is a consensusual movement. And it is newly minted and newly real.

Is it time to realize that, as human beings aware of the reality of evolution, we are experiencing evolution? Because if it is, for the first time ever, not only are all of us experiencing evolution, all of us know it.

If the Church of Scientology is unwilling to play nice (in the same way the rest of us on the internet who — like-it-or-not — must and do take responsibility for our actions), but the Che Church of Scientology has found itself being led by individuals unwilling to own up to the organizations reprehensible behavior, then, for the troubles it finds itself being inundated, Scientology has no one to blame for but itself.

CLEARWATER, Florida - Anonymous announced their intention to combat the activities of the Church of Scientology on Monday. This announcement came as a response to attempts by the Church to keep secret an internal video meant to be viewed only by Scientologists, featuring actor Tom Cruise. Despite their efforts, the movie was leaked and rapidly spread across the Internet. The video caused much controversy, and members of Anonymous posted a message to several of their websites proclaiming war against Scientology. Soon after, Anonymous struck at the church; they blocked access to its website, made prank calls, organized protests, distributed anti-Church pamphlets and information, and extracted secret files from the Church of Scientology and its parent company, the Religious Technology Center.

Anonymous' members cited several reasons for their actions against the Church of Scientology: many have stressed the alleged human rights violations under the auspices of the Church. Others accused the Church of fraud due to its costly ceremonies, while some merely sought the entertainment they refer to as "lulz," a corruption of the Internet slang "LOL," or "laugh out loud." Most members, however, were concerned with the threat to free speech that the Church posed. This was most evident in the recent attacks on websites such as Digg and YouTube, where the Church filtered anti-Scientology comments and replaced their content with the text "[This comment is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Church of Scientology International]." "The so-called Church of Scientology actively misused copyright and trademark law in pursuit of its own agenda," one Anonymous commented. "They attempted not only to subvert free speech, but to recklessly pervert justice to silence those who spoke out against them."

The Church of Scientology's legal struggle with its online detractors began in 1994 with the Usenet group "alt.religion.scientology", a community which spoke out against the Church. Legal representatives from the Church confronted them specifically over the use of Scientology in their name, citing trademark infringement and misrepresentation. This led to numerous lawsuits, and the group was shut down. The Church of Scientology later found itself in several further conflicts on the Internet, including some with popular websites such as Google and Slashdot, as well as an alleged "war" with users of the website YTMND.com.

The members of Anonymous do not plan to end their attacks on the Church of Scientology. Instead, they will continue until the Church of Scientology reacts, at which point they will change strategy. Their main goal is to render the church powerless, and so the war could be one of attrition. Science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard founded the Church in 1953. In the 55 years since its inception, the Church has faced allegations of being a commercial enterprise that harasses its critics, exploits its members, and neglects adults in its care. Scientology has also faced criticism over the cost required to progress through its "auditing" system, with the total bill for completing the course estimated at $365,000 - $380,000.

The History of The Hip-Hop, Part I ('86 - '93)

Full disclosure, I'm was born in 1965, I grew up in Florida, and me and what became hip-hop ran into each other by accident while I was working at a record store and being a teen DJ at Roseland and Feathers teen niteclubs. The dancers - carrying rolls of linoleum - turned me on to the music. They TOLD me to get these records, so I did.

At age 42, I am not fronting. That's just how I got into hip-hop. And this is my take on it. (And I relied on Wikipedia for most of the links.)

There are several hip-hops. They may be controversial, but I think it's kind of a secret.

They have to do with epochs.

The first epoch is pre-hip-hop. It starts in '78 and goes to '82. This is RAPPER'S DELITE era.
No one even called it hip-hop. This is mostly singles (featured in countless Best-Of collections, but two of the best albums include:

The second epoch is HIP HOP. Still no hyphen, and lots of people are still not calling it hip-hop ("Rap," it's called mainly, as in "I hate rap," which was so popular to say that people wore it on t-shirts.) This second epoch started in '83 and goes to '86. There is a lot of Adidas-wearing going on, and there is still lots of fun and lots of dances.

It then becomes the two separate (although similar) forms, Hip-Hop and Rap, at which point I became more interested myself but stricly for "academic reasons" (although at the time, I was unaware that that's what I was doing, studying hip-hop.)

BTW, in '94, Bay Area "Mobbin' music" changed everything, in particular (believe it or not), E-40 and The Click's Down and Dirty.

[And incidentally, never buy the big label re-releases of any "Bay Area" rap music, as the samples are all removed or changed; Go to or contact Rasputin's or Amoeba's in Berkeley, and buy the originals.]

Then, in '95, The Fugees' The Score changed the world.

Captain Outrageous' Car

I called Sherry, Captain Outrageous' girlfriend, last Friday, when I found out that he had had a stroke followed by a heart attack. When I spoke with her, she told me he was brain dead. That said it all to me. "Captain Outrageous is brain-dead." Wow, real poetry.

She said (also) that being at the hospital was not the hardest thing. She said that the hardest thing was being in bed alone the night before." Wow again.

And then she said, "But his car says it all." His car, I asked? "Go look at the back of his car, read what's on his trunk," she said, "Do it now. It's worth it."

So I did. And I snapped the above picture with my $10 digital camera. Here's what it reads....

He had a living will, and the plug was pulled on his (brain-dead) body on Saturday. But before he died, seeing as I am in good with (ex-)KING of Key West, I had the day declared Outrageous Saturday, and went about spreading goodwill and cheer by telling and sharing Captain Outrageous stories.

New York Nightlife Assassin Runs For President

Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani entered America's Presidency contest this week, applying to become the Republican nominee for next year's election.

The notoriously puritanical anti-club zealot declared 'I'm in this to win' in an interview with Fox News and stressed his conservative credentials on the right wing TV network.

His candidacy could have dire implications for American club culture, given the devastating impact he had on New York nightlife during his Mayoral reign between 1993 and 2001.

Veteran club promoter/ DJ and label chief Andrew Price relocated his Satamile Records to San Francisco last year after 20 years in the City and directly blamed Giuliani for destroying its once great alternative music scene.

"New York City is dead, Mayor Giuliani killed it and 9/11 buried it. Giuliani came up with the 'Cabaret Law' idea, making it illegal to dance in clubs unless you have a special license, which cost a fortune and many famous clubs were shut down because of this law," Andrew told Skrufff contributor Katrin Richter.

"The Giuliani administration closed down the underground institutions and systems that educated and cultivated knowledge about new music. This is part of the erosion of culture that the politics of New York have played a large part in."

As well as running Satamile, Andrew promoted over 400 events in Manhattan, presenting acts including Adult, Auteche and Luke Slater, though predicted such acts are unlikely to be welcomed ever again.

"What killed New York were the conservative politics that Giuliani used to 'Clean up the city'; their idea of cleaning up," he said.

"They don't want creative cultural pools of music and art, the want money, and real estate development. All the large alternative parties that go off get shut down, promoters are threatened with arrest or arrested. Basically the cultivating grounds for new and different things musically or for the arts have been shut down or have become too expensive to use," he added.

New York legend Frankie Knuckles, who made his name DJing in the late 70s at the notoriously hedonistic gay sex club the Continental Baths, told Skrufff last year he'd 'never felt more disconnected from New York City' though was less willing to put the blame entirely on the Mayor.

"It's not just Giuliani that made it disappear, the club scene pretty much killed itself," the house pioneer suggested.

"When things go to the extreme in these places and there are drugs around as well it just puts a death on everything. It makes it impossible for anything that could be great to really succeed because sooner or later it will catch up with itself. That's exactly what happened. When Giuliani tried to set the wheels in motion to restrict anything that had to do with vice or nightclubs and clubs, the scene faded out," Frankie added.

"It's now either gone or it's been shut down so far underground that unless you know who's doing what you'll never know how to find it."

Giuliani's zero tolerance policies saw a 50 fold jump in cannabis arrests from 720 a year in 1992, to 33,471 a year by the end of his tenure, though also reduced street crime, as Arthur Baker recognized chatting to Skrufff last year.

"Put it this way; if you had money, or a family or more of a middle-class lifestyle then you loved Giuliani because he succeeded in cleaning up the city. But if you were living in The Village (Greenwich Village) and you wanted to go out and party then you hated him," the electro icon pointed out.

"I don't live in New York anymore but when I go back it seems like a nicer safer environment," he added, "Even before September 11."

Captain Outrageous is a good friend of mine. I saw him yesterday afternoon here in Key West at the coffee shop, and then he left, walked down the street to his gallery, and had a heart attack followed by a stroke, leaving a husk that is now in the hospital in Miami. He's the best. And now he's brain dead, so I guess he's about to be what people call dead. I love him. He's my favorite artist on Key West island. Even if he is dead.

Anyhow, so I did some real googling and came up with these links. I especially like the movie. Won't you spread the word that Captain is the best artist on Key West, even if he is dead? Who knows? Maybe he really is alive!

The New Irreverence

My new ex-girlfriend - who is now an avid reader of howtorockstar, and has been paying attention the Donnie Davies play-out I have been pointedly outlining (here and here and here) - is brilliant. While I was researching the background of the Singularity and Lateral Thinking as part of my defining Singulateral for her this morning, I began to explain the concept of Po. As in, Provocative Operation.

A Po (rhymes with 'go') is an "idea which moves thinking forward to a new place from where new ideas or solutions may be found." So far so good. If anyone is interested in how good ideas come about, then obviously learning of Po's helps us to better understand the process from getting from one place - the challenge - to another - the solution.

Here's where it gets interesting and relevant. It seems that for the correct Po to be formulated or unveiled, that a number of Po's must be presented and sorted through, most important, silly ideas. Even more interesting is that unless the silly ideas are considered and processed that the subsequent good ideas are left undiscovered.

How this is relevant to us is that after I had pointed this out, my new ex-girlfriend says to me, "Like Donnie Davies."

Wow. Uh, yeah. That's right. Exactly like Donnie Davies. And exactly like $trick9.

And that's the point I have been intuitively aware of with this material, and why I have been showcasing it here, and stressing in emails to my peers and colleagues the significance of the material. We need these alternative (bad) ideas presented in the right spirit, ie sincerely, in order to see our way clear to the good idea.

Why? Why? Why...do we need a good idea? Because that's how all of us who are not bad people are going to get out of this mess we are in, and move into a future that is as fantastic and fun as we want it to be. In other words we have to go through the bad (well-conceived) ideas to get to the good (well-conceived) ideas.

I know George Bush is the wrong idea. And I know Dick Cheney is an insane unhealthy criminal warlord. But do I hate them? Oh, no. It's why I came up with the "102 Reasons To Love George Bush" list. Someone else being bad evil or hateful is their problem, but if they think I am going to hate the bad evil or hateful, well, that's incorrect. Hate is a bad investment of energy. Too expensive, and too self-hurtful.

All the people who have been dedicated to censoring the two artists Donnie Davies and $trck9, who are both presenting two obviously genuinely bad but genuinely well-conceived ideas, are missing the point. But my guess is that it doesn't matter, that one way or another pretty soon everyone of us who prefers happiness and joy over fear and anger are going to have good reason to celebrate life and dance again. You see, there are many ways that our current world situation/predicament can go, and inevitably an event will instigate this motion, and - very noteworthy - there are a lot more than one way that can be the right way.

And that's what I mean by singulateral. It's a juxtaposition of the concepts that belong to the Singularity and lateral thinking: Singulateral.

Worldwide, we will get to the right way because there are so many ways to get there. We just haven't been giving the silly ideas enough credibility, and after five years of post-9/11 fever, I am more than ready for the return of silliness. I mean, does anyone remember how great 9/10 was? I do. I was surfing. "9/10 forever! Remember fun!"

So bring on the New Irreverence, and let's put a whole lot more sacred cows out to pasture!

Thanks so much for the support, everybody. I tell you what, mysterious electronic attacks, phone calls from untracable numbers that claim to be the U.S. Postal Service offering to deliver lost packages and an enormous amount of hate mail is enough to make any Minister shrink from God's mission. But I tell you friends, we cant let ourselves be intimidated by the influence of a few well placed psychopaths. Liberty is the foundation of this Nation Under God and the people have the right to chose their own messages and have the right to read them as well.

Some people might think this is some kind of this is some kind of organized conspiracy against the message of the Westboro Baptist Church. I didn't realize when I wrote my song that it might compete with their message. I mean, I was utterly clueless to that. Now that the DJs keep asking me about it I had to think about it and I think people in America have a right to chose their own message. Thats not the same thing as censorship. No one has a right to utterly control what you see, what you hear and what you think. Thats fundamentally anti-American and you should fight it with a resolve that strikes to the very core of your being even if it risks everything you have, otherwise America risks losing everything it is and should be.

First MySpace deleted my account and now they have deleted the account of our band. First they censored me and now they've censored people I'm connected to. If you are a MySpace user, dont allow this. Every one of you who believes in the Freedom of Expression, whether you like our song or not, needs to step up to bat. This is the time. Now.

Last night, I spent the night with my new ex-girlfriend. She called me up, and invited me. Then she read me the funny story about me having dumped her. Then she watched Sex And Lucia while I watched her. Then we went to sleep.

Now I'm woozy. I never get any sleep at my new- ex-girlfriend's house. He bed is like a large flat oven-mitt, and the busy surroundings make me sleep too lightly.

But that's cool. I mean, she smells so good. And now I have some of that wrapped around me. But I'm still woozy. Girls have that effect on me and my reality. All of you Girls. Grils, too.

My girlfriend, who continues to go unnamed, and I have broke up.

You see, I live a high-profile professional life. Subsequently, my personal life is my own, and the two remain separate from one another. But an acquaintance of mine with whom I have a professional relationship with bumped into my girlfriend and I, and got introduced, and then one thing led to another, and she and I got invited to have Valentine's Day dinner with the professional acquaintance and his wife.

The next thing you know, she and I are split up. And that was that.

I miss my girlfriend. I miss having someone so beautiful around, so sexy in her special way, and all the signature smells of a beautiful woman who cares enough to naturally take care of herself - the lotions, and cremes, and oils, et al.

And most of all, I miss the chance that I had met someone sweet enough for me to spend some time with, some months and years and decades with. You see, she didn't just look good, she looked good next to me.

Gnarls Barkley - Who Cares?

I tried resisting Gnarls Barkley. I really did. But this song really gets to me, in that Moby kind of way. In fact, I haven't heard a pop tune that has hit me so strongly since Moby's Extreme Ways.

Part of the deal is that I have a girlfriend now. And she's got a kid. And I have a headache all "teh" time. And it's what I want more than anything. You know why? Because it's a connection to G-D. Not like before - that's gone for good - but in a way that I hoped for and which has been consisently beyond my own imagining.

Whatever I was before is, like, dying. It's like my young self. And what I am now is being born, like my "old self." I even talked to my biological father about it. He said the older I get, the more I am going to be like I was when I was a really young kid. Great. I liked that but all the work I have done seems to be for naught.

In any case, I really care about this woman, but she reminds me of the vampire in this video. She wants, and wants, and I am afraid to give. And I get headaches. And today's my birthday. So this is my birthday song. For year 4-2. And I am psyched to be alive! I hope it keeps being as good as this, and better!
